Founders
There are many things that we have in common; we share the same air, the same sun, the same schools, the same workspace, and share the same country.
Our common values are what keep us together. These values are what make us who we are and make us one.
Love, affection, and compassion are the traits that make us human.
We all have the same desire; a world without hate, a world where everyone has mutual respect for each other and accepts one another.
Unfortunately, the world we live in is not like the utopias we see in stories. The world is riddled with hate, violence, and intolerance that leaves us in despair.
A world full of hate, segregation, disrespect, and racism is bound to be full of hopelessness, chaos, crime, and misery.
We started this project in the hope of doing our part in trying to heal this sickness, after seeing what hate could do to societies.
The first time we gathered to discuss this issue, we talked about how we can make a change. We were aware that we alone could not make this change, but we also couldn’t sit and do nothing. Our mission is clear — we will stand against hate with the help of our peers and raise awareness. A strong youth voice makes a change.
We started donothate.org to spread tolerance and love. We are happy to see that our generation is driven, supportive, and working toward this goal.
We dream for a better America and all of us share the common goal of trying to make it a better place.
